Milonga El Abrazo de Gainesville: Saturday night November 9, 2013: Atlanta DJ, Angel Montero

Public milonga for Argentine Tango dancers in Gainesville, North and Central Florida, USA, surrounding areas (Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine, Palm Coast, Ormond, Daytona, Tallahassee, Ocala, Orlando, Tampa) and national and international visitors.

Last time we had about 35 excellent dancers with lots of new visitors from Jacksonville, Melbourne, Tampa, St. Pete, Ocala, Orlando, Manhattan N.Y.C. We had many compliments about the venue, seating, lighting, good wood floor, good a/c, good dance level and floor craft, great vibe, the superb music from famous DJ Kathleen Prucher “The Tango Diva” from Clearwater. Kathleen also brought beautiful Tango Shoes to look at for those who asked ahead of time.

This month our Special Guest DJ is the famous DJ Angel Montero from Atlanta, GA and his lovely partner April Parker, and probably several other fine Tango Dancers from Atlanta. http://www.atlantatango.com/bios.html

Cost: $10.00, BYO DRINKS and LOTS of SNACKS for 4 HOURS of hard dancing all night.

Public milonga for Argentine Tango dancers in Gainesville, Florida, USA. Held regularly on the second Saturday of each month since September 14, 2013 at 1212 N. Main St., Gainesville, Florida 32601. (It’s on the West side of street in the Gainesville Shopping Center three stores south of Publix Supermarket in “The Movement Zumba Studio”. Easy parking in front of the store. Security Officer on duty until midnight.)

Our Grand Opening last month was a huge success with many dancers still dancing to Kathleen Prucher’s fabulous music until the very end! We had many good dancers from Gainesville, Clearwater, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra Beach, Wilmington N.C., Santa Fe N.M., UF Tango Club, USF Tango Club. The level of dancing and floorcraft was VERY good!

This month we are please to announce that Kathleen Prucher from Clearwater returns again to DJ her fabulous music which keeps everyone dancing all night long and will be bringing more Tango Shoes to look at so call her store at the number below if you want to see some.
