Last month: What a fabulous night of great music from Guest DJ Andrea Hoa Pham. And we danced hard all night with a pretty full floor all the way to the end of the night. It was so good to see Elke and Dubravko Kakarigi again all the way from Berlin! Yay! We also had dancers from Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville, Valdosta, GA, Wilmington, NC, UF Tango Club crew, and all the usual regulars. An excellent attendance, especially considering the holidays and the torrential rains tonight that people had to drive long distances through. But we heard many comments that it was worth the drive. Yay!
This month: our Special Guest DJ is the fabulous DJ and teacher, Dubravko Kakarigi From Berlin, Germany. He is the original promoter of Tango Pavadita Milonga which ran weekly in Gainesville in 2011 and bi-weekly in 2012. He has studied and danced for many years in Argentina, Europe and USA and helped mentor Steve and Sarah to be able to start their own milonga after he retired and moved to Germany with his wife, Gainesville’s own tanguera, Elke Weibezahl.
We are so glad to welcome them back for a couple months and get to dance with them again.
We hope to see you all again at the next milonga on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 8:00 p.m. – midnight!

Cost: $10.00, BYO DRINKS, WATER and LOTS of SNACKS for 4 HOURS of hard dancing all night. No breaks or announcements, just continuous passionate dancing.

(On the West side of the street in the Gainesville Shopping Center three stores south of the Publix Supermarket. Easy parking near the front door. Security Guard on duty until midnight.)
